Molecular Formula：NaHCO3
Applications：
1) Be used as leaven in food industry, generating agent of carbon dioxide in soft drink and cold drink, preservation agent for butter.
2) Be used in movie production, tanning, mill run, smelt, metal heat treatment, and also be used in fiber and rubber industry.
3) Be used as detergent for wool, foam extinguishing agent, and also be used for soaking in agriculture industry.
4) As raising agent that is the most widely used in food industry, be used in producing biscuit, pastry, steamed bread and bread etc, and together with alum be used for compounding into alkaline baking powder and together with soda ash be used for compounding into civil crystal soda.
5) Making use of the effect of the well-distributed foaming when match it with alum and H blowing agent it can be used in rubber and sponge producing in rubber industry.
6) Be used as fluxing agent when cast steel ingot in metallurgical industry and as molding supporting agent when cast steel sand mould in machinery industry.
7) In dyeing and printing industry, be used as color fixing agent of dyeing and printing, buffering agent of acid and alkali and post-treatment agent of fabric dyeing and rectifying.
